The greatest influencers in life are the ones with the most hope. Life has a way of robbing our hope through limited exposure to greater possibilities, disappointments, neglect, or abuse. Hope is an expectation of good, so when hopelessness sets in, there is no longer an expectation of a better outcome. Hope within an individual is magnetic, inspiring and lifesaving - all characteristics that I would use to describe Allen Piper. Allen radiates hope and manufactures enthusiasm that draws you in like gravity. Allen and Jennifer Piper have the divine ability to identify the ember of greatness in every person and breath into it until it becomes a blaze within them. Through their unique gifting they operate like a lifeboat throwing lifelines to those who are drowning in despair. They are heroes that will be remembered for generations because of their love for God and people.

It has been our great pleasure to have known the Piper’s Allen & Jennifer since 2008. In the duration of our relationship we have had the opportunity to walk alongside them both personally & professionally. It is with the utmost sincerity that we can attest that they are driven by 2 things – passion & compassion for the things they commit to. They are ever giving, ever looking to support, encourage and add value to the agencies and organizations they have led or been a part of.

In working with Allen & Jennifer at Hope for Tomorrow, we saw first-hand their relentless pursuit to create an environment of opportunity and excellence, allowing a fulfillment of the calling from James 1:27 to care for the orphans & fatherless. They continually strived to ensure that the agency had the highest quality and experienced staff that could create the provisions necessary for the families they supported at every level. It was apparent that Hope for Tomorrow was an extension of their prior experience in direct fostering, and allowed them to expand their ability to influence beyond just themselves by multiplying themselves through the training and development of other families. This created a maximization of impact in the training and development of existing and future foster/adopt parents and in turn creating safe havens and placement homes for children in needs of such a loving, caring environments.

My wife Beth and I have known Allen and Jennifer Piper for close to 30 years. As life-long pastors with a background in child care from Buckner Benevolence and as parents to two adopted children from the Buckner organization we can testify to the Pipers Christian character, integrity, God given ability, perseverance and compassion to care for children during their time of distress. They began their career as young adults helping girls as house parents with a residential treatment center. How many newly wed couples do you know who has the maturity to represent a Godly example as a parent? It’s just another example of the call of God upon their life. Their incredible example showed many girls over the years how to manage their life correctly and conduct themselves as ladies. The original girls of Hope For Tomorrow-HFT still to this day consider Allen and Jennifer as mom and dad. They not only demonstrated the correct way for children but went on to teach adults how they to could open their home to troubled youth and set a Godly example. At one time HFT was one of the largest child placing agencies in Texas. Then in December 2014 they experienced a near fatal automobile crash. Jennifer was airlifted from the crash scene to Harris Methodist hospital in Ft. Worth Texas as a fatality. A hospital worker noticed a weak sign of life and a long , painful recovery began. Unable to continue with Hope For Tomorrow, because of the severity of Jennifer’s injuries, Allen made a decision to merge HFT with a like spirited organization. Now fully recovered and after incredible answered prayers the Pipers are standing back up ready to take their rightful place as EXCELLENT CHILD CARE PROFESSIONALS. I am in full agreement that this faith based ministry will once again become a premier placement for the children & youth of Texas. With their call, anointing, compassion and highly respected ability, I believe Hope For Tomorrow Child & Family Ministries will once again rise high as a example of quality child care in Texas.
